VISITING US

So no, we don’t take reservations, and we don’t make any exceptions, even if you ask

reaaally nicely and have traveled a long way to see us (lovely though that is - we appreciate you!).

From Tuesday to Thursday we aren’t really that busy. We’re a neighbourhood spot and

well, everyone’s at work. So if you have the freedom to do so, these days

are the best days to come if you want a guaranteed table.

On Fridays and Saturdays, we’re pretty busy. On Fridays we might need a moment

to find you a table, but things move quickly. On Saturdays demand is drastically higher,

and we serve a brunch menu all the way through. If the flow is good, a queue

can barely ever build (we like those days!). Sometimes though there is a bottle neck of guests

coming around 11am-1pm and this is when the queue could be at its longest. On average we say 15 minutes!

So don’t arrive too hangry, be prepared to wait a short time on Saturdays, but nothing crazy, since we’re

pretty good at moving things along. If you can, come between 9-11am or 1-2.30pm and you’ll likely walk straight into a table.

 

We cook a short and creative menu from scratch inspired by local produce grown by small

farmers in Cambridgeshire, Sussex and Kent, sometimes even here in East London.

Our small kitchen also turns out most of our baked goods using a diverse array of UK grown grains.
